Liquids & Solidification

Did you know that liquid waste solidification reduces the risk of spills and increases its disposal speed and efficiency? It also reduces the risk of aerosolization and the spread of bloodborne pathogens!

Our team collaborates with your company to develop a plan for liquid solidification and find the best binding material. Some common ones include:

  • Cement
  • Asphalt
  • Fly ash
  • Clay

Solidification Process

Liquid waste solidifies through a process that involves mixing waste with a binding agent. This binding agent is a substance that bonds loose materials. In addition to the binding agent, water is added to most mixtures to start binding. After adding water, the mixture solidifies and is safely stored, which allows it to dry and harden.
